My daily morning meditative walk in the garden. Sometimes I start weeding still in my pjs and bathrobe.Bitter melon happiness in the greenhouse. 2 beautiful melons growing and thriving. A butterfly on its leaf greeted me, opening and closing its wings.Killing 2 days with one stone. Day 22 and 23/61 Daisy Yellow Index Card a Day Challenge. A PINEAPPLE with PURPLE hair. It’s fun to let go and let my brush have its way.Last evening’s mini version of Monday’s downpour. Failed to capture the thunder and lightning.Things are getting crowded in the greenhouse. I finally pruned out the snowpeas to give the peppers more elbow room and light. They needed a little moral support from the tomato cages. Hopefully they will now get more robust. They are flowering.Despite our strange weather of drought and flood , things are growing by leaps and bounds. We’ve got the tomatoes strung up to keep them on the straight and narrow.Day 21/61 Daisy Yellow Index Card a Day Challenge. Summer SOLSTICE sure brought a huge rainstorm to my city.Day 20/61 Daisy Yellow Index Card a Day Challenge. Can a OUIJA BOARD give us answers from beyond?Day 19/61 Daisy Yellow Index Card a Day Challenge. I did it know about SELVEDGE jeans, did you? How they are different from other jeans is beyond me.Sweet morsels from the greenhouse and garden.Instagram

WHEN THE BOTTOM FALLS OUT
I always arrive here at the end of the day. Good time to sum up everything but I want to lounge and vegetate. I want to curl up with my glass of wine. Supper is still in the making so … Continue reading

NOT ALL DAYS ARE EQUAL

MORE RAIN AND NO SHINE
It rains still. How many days now? I have lost count. But Sheba and I are strong. Every morning we don our black rain gear and we walk our talk – neither rain nor sleet. Hush! I better keep my … Continue reading
THE WORLD WITH OUT
The rain continues to come down. I continue to venture forth into the Universe to feed myself, for no woman is an island unto herself. She cannot be nurtured and grow without any outside forces. Within, she will dwindle and … Continue reading

BITING THE BULLET
I am afraid today is another Day – waking up to the same grey and cool morning. No snow though, thank the lord for small – no big mercies. I’m starting to feel like Bill Murray. Desperation is nibbling on my … Continue reading
SOMEONE LEFT THE CAKE IN THE RAIN
Someone must have pushed the replay button on the remote because we are getting the same scenario as yesterday. Yes, it is snowing again. I don’t know why but Richard Harris and strains of McArthur’s Park is playing in my head. MacArthur’s … Continue reading

THE WONDER IN ME
I slept in on this 22nd day of April. It felt great just to let go and luxuriate in the warmth of my bed. Sheba felt the same in her own bed. There is no need to be Wonder Woman … Continue reading
