Day 10 #augustbreak2022It has risen, flatten and risen again. Now I’m about to flatten it again into loaves so they can rise again.Stir fry of bitter melon and Chinese mustard greens. I do love bitter.Day 9 #augustbreak2022Day 8 #augustbreak2022. FAVOURITE TASTE - cappuccino frozen yogurt with raspberries.A little harvest of bitter melon, cucumber, peppers and Egyptian walking onions. My morning excitement. The beginning of a slipper gourd.View at the top. The rooftop garden on the shed.Day 7 #augustbreak2022 BENEATH MY FEET - marigolds and strawberries.A lovely sunny afternoon after a grey cool day of yesterday. My 2 hanging bougainvilleas are finally showing some reddish flower buds. I’ve learned they will not set flowers if they get too much water. Meanwhile in the greenhouse I have one ripe Black Krim tomato. It got a bit smashed when I dropped it in the kitchen. And it is cucumber season. So many are coming now as is with the bitter melons. The peppers are doing their bit, too. I am very happy with how productive the greenhouse has been this second year. I’m not too keen on the early Red Alert tomatoes I had. Not sweet or delicious. Will not do again in spring. The snow peas were a success. I might seed a few again soon to see how they perform now into late autumn. I still have celery and Swiss Chard growing from spring. I’ve been harvesting handfuls to add to stir fries. I’m sure they will keep going into late fall.Instagram

SOULFUL SUNDAY
I’m sitting amidst my paper clutter on this sunny Sunday. Not a dark cloud or a drop of rain for a change. No dark clouds from me either. For a change I am not fretting about my clutters or mutters. … Continue reading

It’s another Friday and I feel as crappy as can be. I suppose I should keep it to myself but I never could suffer in silence. I can blame it on the frigging weather and I will. It doesn’t help … Continue reading
THE WORLD IS ON FIRE
I never have a lack of things to do. Still, I’m apt to waste time scrolling through celebrity gossip. I caught myself just now and quickly exit the article. Why do we do it? For me it is procrastination. It’s … Continue reading

THIEVES AND NASTINESS
It’s Thursday. I’m a day late coming to my space. I felt so terribly busy and disorganized yesterday. It was better to be flexible and silent rather than stressing myself more by trying to do everything. So here I am … Continue reading
